David E. Carter

Creativity Center

& Museum

David's lifelong love of baseball is reflected in the museum.  He didn't achieve his dream of playing shortstop for the New York Yankees, but he became the founder of the Mickey Mantle - Whitey Ford Fantasy Baseball Camp. And, he produced several baseball documentaries that won Emmy Awards. And one of his films was honored by the Baseball Hall of Fame.

David at the museum with the JVC and Ikegami cameras that he used in the 1980s.

Early in his career, his TV commercials were produced on 16mm film, wiwth these cameras, and the editing was done with a razor blade. Seriously!
